Sanchez Fischer Levine is proud to introduce 2024 summer associates Damon Duchenne and Kelly Cuba. Damon and Kelly assist the firm’s attorneys in complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters during their clerkship.
Damon attends the University of Miami School of Law, where he will enter his final year in August. He is in the Top 5% of his class at UM and is a member of the University of Miami Law Review, as well as on the International Moot Court team. Prior to law school, Damon graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in International Relations and Criminology. Damon was born and raised on the island of Mauritius, and is fluent in French and Mauritian Creole.
Kelly attends the Florida International University College of Law, where she also enters her final year as a rising 3L. Prior to beginning her clerkship with SFL, Kelly completed a term as a judicial intern with United States District Court Judge Beth Bloom. She also previously interned under Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Jason Dimitris. For her undergraduate degree, Kelly attended the FIU Honors College and majored in Psychology while obtaining her Pre-Law Certificate. Kelly is fluent in Spanish.
Both Damon and Kelly will be working out of the Miami office.
