Proposed Class Action Against SFL Client Dismissed

We are a firm of litigators.

SFL attorneys Alexander Fischer, Michael De Simone, and Elizabeth Francisco recently obtained a full dismissal of a putative class action lawsuit filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas that alleged violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act against SFL’s client, a nationwide builder.  The matter was dismissed after SFL presented a thorough factual and legal defense that highlighted several problems with the claims alleged by the plaintiff.

SFL’s complex commercial litigation team represents a diverse array of clients in state and federal court and its attorneys are well versed in complex matters spanning a multitude of subject matters. SFL’s attorneys are licensed in Florida, New York, California, Illinois, and the District of Columbia, and SFL has pending cases in jurisdictions such as Texas, New Jersey, Alabama, and Louisiana, where its attorneys enjoy pro hac status.
